Hello! Thanks for coming to learn more about me!
I have been teaching for 7 years and will be beginning my 8th year in August 2017.
I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from The University of Delaware in 2010. This certified me in the state of Delaware to teach Birth-2nd Grade and Special Education.
After my first year teaching I started working towards my Masters degree in Special Education with a focus area in autism. I completed my Masters from The University of Delaware in 2014, adding Teacher of Autism to my Delaware teaching certificates.
I work with pre-school age students in a special needs classroom, primarily students with autism, but have experience with developmental delay, downs syndrome, cerebral palsy, oppositional defiance disorder, ADHD & ADD, orthopedic impairments, visual impairments, sensory processing disorders, and more.

In 2011 I began selling digital resources that I was creating for use in my classroom on Teachers Pay Teachers and am so thankful for the support of my peers in making that adventure successful for me. If you are interested in shopping my resources, you can do so by clicking the "shop tpt" link at the top of this page.
I have completed training and successfully passed my exam for Registered Behavior Technician and look forward to providing ABA services to children and their families throughout the summer and during the school year as time and my schedule allow it.
In April 2017 I began my coursework with Florida Institute of Technology for their ABA program to hopefully obtain my BCBA credentials some day. It's a rough journey, but very informative and a very well constructed program that I am enjoying.
If you have any other questions about my experiences in the classroom or my credentials, you can email me at creatingandteaching@hotmail.com
