Introducing a New Blog...

Don't you just love it?! I do, but maybe I'm biased! So, I have created a blog just for my classroom. In lieu of the *very* lackluster resource we have for creating a teacher web page through our district, I created a blog!

I wanted to have a separate website that I could just post a link to from our district site and I've seen so many great teacher websites outside of blog land, BUT, most of them cost money & I wasn't into that.

I thought creating a classroom blog would be a great way for parents and families to stay connected and up to date on what we are doing in the classroom! I plan on getting signed permission/or not from the families regarding photos of their child being posted on the blog & this way, they will be able to download and have photos of their children at school!

I can also keep important information handy such as our welcome packet and a current monthly calendar for the families to quickly & easily access!

If you choose to follow my classroom page, you will hopefully find photos of lessons and activities posted about here, in action! (Once the school year starts of course!)

I would love feedback from your parenting side about this! Stop by and check out the blog and let me know your thoughts! Do you think this is a great idea? Do you dislike when your child's teacher has a blog? I'm looking for all opinions! :)
