Three for Thursday

First, I must say, DANG I'm exhausted! All of those in blog land who started back at school before I did and talked about not having enough time for blogging...I thought you were crazy. I told myself I'd have time.... You were right, I WAS WRONG! I'm beat! (Taking an interest back into running here recently, probably is not helping the cause!)

Today is favorite font, favorite teaching blog, and favorite online resource. Now that I've downed half a mug of coffee, maybe I can pull this one out before going to work.

Favorite Font

It's hard to pick a favorite font! I've recently downloaded some new ones, but the ones I tend to favor are still those listed on my favorite fonts list...

The newest one to add to that list would be "Turtle Club" It's the font used on my sidebar headers and you can find it for free, here.

Favorite teaching blog

How dare you ask us to pick just one! *gasp* Since there are not many pre-school teaching blogs out there, I find myself LOVING the ideas on kindergarten & first grade blogs & then finding ways to adapt them. If there's one blog I can't even miss a post reading on it's The Inspired Apple.

I love Abby! She has the most adorable ideas, I love how she writes her posts, and you can tell she really LOVES her kiddos and having fun with them in her classroom!

Favorite Online Resource

Well, currently I love Pinterest and that I can put all of the great ideas I find there and then go back for what I'm looking for, but before Pinterest came along, there was a site I loved checking out for ideas and printables...

Pre-Kinders! I always found great resources & then once blog land came about, I realized they had a blog & even MORE great resources!

I hope you make some of my favorites, you NEW favorites! :) I'm off to work & can't wait to see everyone's link ups when I get home!

P.S.  The retired teachers from my building last year are bringing in breakfast for all of us this morning! How nice! I have a feeling they might spoil us with goodies this year...

P.S.S. Just have to throw this in there because with Teacher Week going on I haven't seen anyone else post anything--is anyone a threat from Hurricane Irene?!?

Love the fonts, I've never downloaded any before, I just use what they offer in whatever program I'm using....nice to know I have options now.
