It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas! - FREEBIE!

I love Christmas. And I love having followers. So I'm going to give you FREE stuff!

Sunday December 11 - Saturday December 17

Tune in for one free Christmas/Holiday/Winter Freebie each day! Everyday will be a holiday funday! Be sure to share this with your friends! If my blog can make it to 400 followers or more during this event, I'll have a giveaway at the end!

Let's kick this event off with a great freebie...Christmas Puzzles!

Click below to download this fun game for free!
UPDATE (11/26/12) This game is no longer available for Free download. When you purchase my "Tis the Season for Holiday Fun" Unit you will find this game included there.

Print out as many puzzles as you would like/need. Students put their puzzle in number order to find their picture. Use the writing prompt at the end of the pack to have your kiddos write about the picture they have!

This is my first time including a writing prompt in an activity. We don't use these in pre-k, but I know that a lot of followers will. Do you have any advice for making prompts like these in the future? Particularly with the lined background! :)

If you grab this freebie, leave me a comment! I'd love to know how you plan on using it in your classroom or home school program!

  2. Erin, they are adorable! And I actually like the way they look more in "draft" form! Can you make a pack that doesn't have the numbers on the side too? I think that would be fun for my kiddos who need a little more of a challenge. Also, the writing prompt at the end is great! Definitely keep the lined background! I was thinking maybe making it like a quarter of the page, so the kids could write "My picture was Santa" and then they can cut it out and even glue it to the back of the puzzle! Does that make sense?? Very cute, thank you!!! I'm looking forward to the upcoming days and definitely sending my followers your way! :)

  3. Thank you so much for the tips Hadar! I love hearing that! I'll definitely take your advice on the writing prompt for the future. It was something new for me. I found an image of the writing lines and then added it, so I think I could do better. I might need to look for a larger image of that for the next time!

I'll look into editing the puzzles and removing the numbers!

  4. Ahh! I thought I still had the template design from the puzzles, but I don't. If I went in now to take away the numbers it would distort the images too much! I'm sorry! I will keep it in mind for puzzles in the future to do both sets! :)
