Stop, Drop, and FREEBIE!

I'm taking a break from working on some paid products to bring you a freebie. Because. Why not?! I think I get so busy, then so wrapped up in working on other projects, that I forget to share some freebie love.

I'm super excited about the current product I'm working on, but it's taking me forever so I was kind of happy to take a break from it to work on this freebie for you.

So without further adieu...

The pages of this are set up so that you can bind them into a book. After all of the pages of letters, you add one blank page at the back. You can see the blank page labeled in the picture below.

THEN you are also going to attach a binding coil to the right side of this page. [As seen above]

This will allow you to attach the page with the image choices. When you put the book away you can just fold this page into the back cover. It might sound confusing, but it all works out. I had to add a second page for images, so I just attached that one the same way as well. [See below]

I've also included picture card choices with or without the picture word so you can choose the ones that fit your preference. OR you can start using the ones with the words (so the first letter of each word can be a cue for the child) and then scaffold to using the pictures without words once the child is ready.

When you're not using the book it folds in very nicely. (I'm sure you were wondering how that works with all the binding coils)

In order to snag this freebie though, you need to be a fan of Creating & Teaching on Facebook! Are you a facebook fan? Once you "like" my page, you'll be able to grab the facebook fan only freebies by clicking the "Freebies for Fans" image. These freebies are exclusive to facebook fans only, meaning you won't be able to download them elsewhere.

Not a fan? {CLICK HERE}

Download tip- when you click the link from the facebook fan tab, it will open in a Google Docs page. DOWNLOAD it. The images will not look right in the viewer on google docs, but when you download, they will look fine! :)

Thank you so much for this freebie! I am just seeing this now, and am very excited to use this in my new position as an integrated preschool teacher! I noticed that you use a lot of binding coils for products, do you have a machine to do this or do you take it to Staples/ Office Depot? I'm wondering if it's worth the investment to buy one :)

Jacqueline...I hope you see this! We have a binding machine at work that I have access to use. I did look into buying one myself. They run about $40-$60 it looked like. I do use them a lot, they are an excellent resource. I'm not sure what the pricing runs to have Staples do it, or how much it is to buy the coils. If you don't have access to one like I do, then I would research a little and make some price comparisons. It may be worth it just to buy one.
