While I'm on the topic of things I need to do differently for next year, one is having a substitute teacher binder. I always knew it was important to have something together for the sub, but I never had the time to sit down and make a place to put all of it. Fortunately I was always able to have enough time to plan for any of the sub plans I needed this school year!
Moving forward though, I would like to have a binder together that includes sections of information that the sub needs to know, as well as, a section for the lesson plans. (also including an emergency plan should I need one!)
I have created a binder set for all of the sections in my substitute teacher binder. I printed out the pages and laminated them onto tab dividers.
Here is the cover of my binder. I have my name and my room number on the front, but I have removed it in order to upload the documents to my TpT store. If you are interested in downloading a copy visit my store. My favorite part of the set includes this form for the substitute to fill out at the end of the day.
I can't take full credit for this form, I found one similar online and then made my own. I wish I still had the source where I found it so I could give credit! (So if you're out there, let me know! ha!)
What do you leave behind for your substitutes?

Thanks so much! These blogs really do get you going! I spend so much time in front of my printer and laminator printing out ideas! They also inspire me to get more things done!
The link doesn't work. Is there another way to access it?
Thank you for letting me know! I have fixed the link! You can click it again, or in the future, there is a button to my TpT store on the top right sidebar! :)
But I really do appreciate you letting me know so that I could get it fixed!! Thanks!
Thank you for this! I am going out of town for a conference this month for a WHOLE WEEK and I am stressing about how to organize everything. This is perfect! Thank you! :)
You may only need an extra vehicle for a few weeks each year, but you need it every year. OSHA, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration who's responsible for safety in the workplace, has implemented new rules for forklift operators. So the precision demanded is imperative. Sos there are now excellent opportunity for certified forklift operators. %u2022 Lockout / Tagout
